United States Air Force Art titled GangPlank by Todd Krasovetz

$299.00

This remarkable original work by military artist Todd Krasovetz shows the above areal view of a MQ-9 firing onto speedboats below. This is the first known maritime drone art said to be in existence. Titled “Gangplank!”, a term which declares a naval vessel is under attack and changes the rules of engagement to support its defense.

A two-ship formation of United States Air Force MQ-9 “Reapers” engage the lead vessel in a swarm attack against an American warship. The Reapers’ deadly AGM-114 Hellfire missiles quickly and precisely break-up the attack, slowing it down and providing more time to attrit remaining boats and save the American sailors from harm. To hell and back!

Commissioned by Nellis AFB in 2016, this oil painting is 1 in a series of 5 pieces commissioned. The entire series is due to be released in Late Summer of 2017.
